40 enphase micro inverter wiring diagram

So I had a company come out the other day S I’m just beginning to get bids fir a system and he mentioned that Enphase is supposedly coming out w these micro inverters that will allow the system to function when the grid is down. Has anyone heard anything about these or when they may be available? Would you consider using them even if it’s brand new tech or would you wait till they’ve been time tested? The Tesla quote uses Solar edge inverter. They seem to work well, but how do they perform under shading? I have heard that micro inverters perform best under shading conditions, but how about Solar edge single phase inverter?

My utility sized my system at 19.2KW, but that’s with my old failing ACs, which I’m getting replaced. My utilities’ incentive stops at $5,625 or a system at 65% of my last year usage. So I’m requesting a 12.4KW system (40 310W Peimar panels & 40 EnPhase IQ-7 MicroInverters) priced at $20,555 ($37,4000 total minus 5,625 utility refund and $11,220 ITC) Which puts the cost per watt at $1.657 right? PG&E is threatening to shut off our power for up to a week, because, you know, fire risk. Well, that and political pressure to force CA to help them with the legal issues they have at the moment. I have a really nice solar array on my roof, but if the power goes out, it's useless. That makes me sad, and makes my electric car sad, and makes my refrigerator sad, etc. Is there a way to open my main breaker, and make the micro inverters to run? Within a week of getting my envoy, sunpower monitoring started to work so I put the envoy away. I don't really like the sunpower monitoring and I'm aware enphase has a one time fee to monitor at the panel level. Do any of you guys know if I'm even able to install the envoy...

Enphase micro inverter wiring diagram. I can't find any info on whether it's possible to use a solaredge inverter in conjuntion with an enphase smart switch/battery system. I know it won't integrate as wonderfully as if there were micros all over the place, but we have a bunch of solaredge system owners who are asking for energy storage and I don't really like any options out there except powerwalls and enphase. Has anyone ever tried solaredge inverter + enphase batteries? As a newbie, I can only gather that the micro inverters are only really good if you have very variable sun conditions. I live in Las Vegas, it’s extremely sunny. Installs using Enphase are running a couple grand more than a typical transformerless inverter. The efficiency difference seems to be negligible for a very consistently sunny region. The only upside I see is that it might be easier to squeeze and extra panel in somewhere with Enphase because they don’t have to be clumped together. Wh...
